The Cheshire East Business Support Initiative

Start, Sustain and Succeed.

East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce that they have been successful in their bid for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, working alongside North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.

The programme is designed to help businesses within the Cheshire East Area, the prime aim is to assist businesses from start-ups, micro, small businesses and the self-employed to grow and innovate in a difficult economic climate.

All three Chambers within the Cheshire East Area are working together to deliver Start Up and Scale Up support and mentoring programmes to nurture the growth of local businesses by means of a ‘One Stop Shop Series of Workshops/Masterclasses and Net-working’.

What the funding will be used for:

The delivery of workshops/masterclasses will include but will not be limited to, Business Coaching, Health and Safety, HR, Sales Training, Legal, Business Management, Networking, Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Introduction to Export, Accountancy, Reducing Carbon Footprint.

These workshops/masterclasses are open to all businesses within the Cheshire East area for both members and non-members.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.
