Thursday Thirty – 28th February 2019

Prism Solutions are hosting the Thursday Thirty on 28th February 2019 to be held at The Technology Barn, John Bradshaw Court, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1LB

Following the network meeting there will be a short presentation from a previous winner of our Business Awards who will give advice and information on completing a presentation for an awards entry.

Annual Business Awards – 5th April 2019

East Cheshire Chamber Annual Business Awards Evening is be held on Friday, 5th April 2019. This prestigious event will take place in The Stephenson Suite at Cranage Hall, near Holmes Chapel and will commence with a black tie dinner, followed by the presentation of the Business Awards, culminating with a disco.

Business Award sponsorship opportunities are still available; please contact me if you would like further information.

We have introduced a few new categories this year; businesses must be members of the East Cheshire Chamber and can be nominated either by themselves or by third parties on the enclosed nomination form. The final date for nominations for the Awards will be 7th March 2019.

As part of the judging process, visits will be made to the companies and individuals who are short listed for the Awards. If you would like to nominate a person or a company for any award, or nominate your own company please contact Jackie Randles.

If you do not wish to be part of the award process but would like to be part of this event, we would be delighted to see you and your employees on the night – use the opportunity to celebrate your own achievements.

Full details about entering the awards and attending will be sent out in early January 2019 and will also be in the January 2019 magazine.

Annual Golf Day – 19th June 2019

The East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise would like to invite you to our Annual Golf Tournament. We are delighted to announce will be held at a the same  venue as last year, Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club, Whitegate, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2BA.

Set within 150 acres of stunning Cheshire Countryside, Vale Royal Abbey Golf Course was officially opened in 1998 and has since matured to become one of the best courses in the North West.

All greens are constructed to USGA specifications.

The event begins with a putting competition at 11.30am that provides you with the perfect preparation to hone your putting stroke and to meet all of your fellow competitors. Bacon rolls and coffee will also be available on arrival. The putting competition which is sponsored by Myers & Co will close at 12.30pm and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start strictly at 13.00pm. Players are advised to arrive no later than 12.30pm. A two course dinner will be served at 19.30pm followed by the presentation of prizes and a charity raffle. The dress code for dinner in the evening is jacket and tie.

Five Pass Challenge – 24th – 29th June 2019

On 24th June Chamber Chief Executive, Dvid Watson and Tim McCloud, Managing Director of TMC Strategic Communications are embarking on a 2,500 mile road trip across the Alps in support of the Chamber Charity, Ruby’s Fund.

The 5 day Swiss Challenge will take David and Tim through 5 Alpine passes and local business have already started to sponsor the challenge.
