Spring Clay Shoot

On a gloriously sunny spring day Cloudside Shooting Ground was once again the venue for the East Cheshire Chamber Clay Shoot. Sponsored by Berisfords Ribbons of Congleton the event raised £400.00 for the Chamber’s charity of the year, Carers Trust 4 All.

The keen marksmen displayed some amazing shooting with Graham Pear of Contain-a-Lot winning first prize with a 100% score. Second was Paul Johnson of Direct Energy Associates and Third was John Whitehead of Glass & Stainless. The Best Ladies Individual Trophy was won by Christine House of Wardle Armstrong. The much coveted Clay Conservation Award was scooped up by Shaun Hurley of Purchasing Support Services.

After the shooting the whole party enjoyed a wonderful al fresco meal of steak pie and chips.
The Chamber would like to say a big thank you to Cloudside Shooting ground for looking after us all so well and making the day the great success that it was.
