Annual Clay Shoot – Wednesday 19th October 2022
We had a fantastic day at our Annual Clay Shoot on Wednesday 19th October, with over 40 attendees for the day! Despite the gale force winds, everyone was still in highly competitive spirits and enjoyed the day.
We had fantastic feedback throughout the day – a lot of our attendees were first time shooters, and they came away extremely happy with the support they received from the instructors at Cloudside Shooting Grounds.
Once all shooters returned from the Clay Competition, a lovely hot meal of pie, chips and veg was served in front of the fire. Whilst enjoying their meal and networking, the instructors tallied up the scores.
The individual score winners were in 3rd place, Lee Smith from Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows, in 2nd place, Mark Barnett from Senior Aerospace and in 1st place was Paul Powell from the Eze-Talk Team. The Overall Winning Team had shooters from Eze-Talk, and Iron Market Group.
The best ladies individual score went to Gemma Littler from the Eze-Talk team and the Clay Conservation Award was won by new member, Stevie Jepson from Platinum Accountancy Services.
Our Chamber Charity of the Year – Smile Group also attended and put together some wonderful raffle prizes, raising a brilliant £310.
